I am thrilled to share the exciting news about Tshabalala's first litter! We anticipate that Tippi will go into heat at the end of March or the beginning of April. For this special occasion, we have selected the stud Tartar, known as Zaliwa Ndoto Purple Rain, owned by Viera Papankova in Slovakia and bred by Monique Dirks in the Netherlands. Tartar is an international champion, though he has not been used as frequently for breeding as many other champions. This rarity could lead to a promising genetic diversity in the litter. According to EmbarkVet, the expected virtual ecoi for this litter is only 15%, which is 6% lower than the average for the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed. This lower risk suggests a significantly reduced chance of genetic diseases, offering hope for healthy and vibrant puppies!
